Whilst the summer season is typically quiet in the commercial property industry, we've had some good activity with a few of the standout deals noted below : Oak Park, Hartlebury near Kidderminster. In July we completed the acquisition of this multi let Industrial Park on the outskirts of Hartlebury near Kidderminster for private investor clients. The property was marketed through Cushman and Wakefield with a guide price of six million pounds. With a competitive bidding process in place, we were able to secure the site for a private investor client and contracts were exchanged within a month. I would like to say a big thank you to both Ned and Harry of Cushman and Wakefield in Birmingham for being so responsive throughout the transaction. Getting to an exchange of contracts in a month is not easy but we hit the deadline on this one. A Charity Close to my Heart. Myton Hospice have completed a lease and are opening a new charity shop on the Industrial Estate in Alcester right next door to Greggs the Bakers. This is a charity particularly close to my heart with my mother-in-law spending her final weeks at the Myton Hospice in their excellent care. It is great to see them expand their portfolio of shops whereby local people can drop off charitable donations which can then be sold on to raise funds for this fantastic charity. Office Building For Sale with Investment Opportunity. We have been instructed to sell this landmark office building set over three floors on a Freehold roadside plot of just over half an acre, located off the Studley Road as you approach Alcester from the West. Offers are invited for the Freehold interest based on a guide price of eight hundred and fifty thousand pounds, equating to a yield of 11% once the building is fully let.
